This soap is truly a labor of love. I started with Organic Hibiscus Flower Petals then distilled Hibiscus Water for the base of this soap. While working on the soap, I placed the remains of the organic petals into my dehydrator for use on the top of the soap.
The oil base for this soap starts with Organic Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil at 41.5% of the total oil. Then Canola Oil at 28.1%, Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil at 20.7% and finished with Virgin Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil at 9.7%. I designed this receipt to leave 8% of the oils available for moisturizing your skin.
The soap is designed to cleans, exfoliate, nourish and moisturize. I added French Green Clay to the middle of this bar. French Green Clay, also known as Montmorillonite or Illite Clay is considered by many as a healing clay widely used for its skin healing properties. When applied to the skin, it essentially absorbs toxins and poisons that get trapped in the skin. The clay originates from France and mined directly from the earth. French Green Clay is a 100% natural bio-organic material and contains a cornucopia of valuable elements.
Pure French Green clay is has been used for centuries on oily skin because of its excellent oil absorption properties. For years it has been thought to remove acne causing toxins from the skin and revitalize tired skin.
The top of the soap bar has a swirl of color achieved with Organic Safflower Powder and Organic ground Black Walnut Shell, which provides the gentle exfoliating. Bars come with or without the dried Organic Hibiscus Flowers on top.
